Living Bread<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Bread:<\/strong>\u00a0Spiritual nourishment that revivifies and continues, like the Living Water.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Heaven:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0State of perfect Love and Harmony, in the completion of God’s volition for our eternal life.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Eat:<\/strong>\u00a0 Absorb through the use of all the Means of Grace.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

O the Depth of Love Divine<\/b><\/p>\n

O the depth of love divine, the unfathomable grace!
\nWho shall say how bread and wine God into us conveys!
\nHow the bread His flesh imparts,
\nHow the wine transmits His blood,
\nFills His faithful people\u2019s hearts with all the life of God!<\/p>\n

Let the wisest mortals show how we the grace receive;
\nFeeble elements bestow a power not theirs to give.
\nWho explains the wondrous way,
\nHow through these the virtue came?
\nThese the virtue did convey, yet still remain the same.<\/p>\n

How can spirits heavenward rise, by earthly matter fed,
\nDrink herewith divine supplies and eat immortal bread?
\nAsk the Father\u2019s wisdom how:
\nChrist Who did the means ordain;
\nAngels round our altars bow to search it out, in vain.<\/p>\n

Sure and real is the grace, the manner be unknown;
\nOnly meet us in thy ways and perfect us in one.
\nLet us taste the heavenly powers,
\nLord, we ask for nothing more.
\nThine to bless, \u2019tis only ours to wonder and adore.<\/p>\n
